    Is a "paystub" the same as a "paycheck"?

    No, they’re distinct but closely linked components of payroll. A paycheck is the actual check or direct deposit given to an employee, representing their earnings. On the other hand, a paystub is a detailed breakdown showing how those earnings were calculated, along with any deductions. You can view the paycheck as the “payment” and the paystub as the detailed “invoice” for that payment period.

    I believe there's an error in my YTD. Can this be fixed?

    Absolutely! Our system, by default, calculates YTD from the year’s start. For a start date of January 1st, 2023, it would show your stubs as the 15th and 16th paychecks. If you started your role at a different time within the year, please inform us of your hiring date or how many paychecks you’ve had so far. Alternatively, if you have an accurate YTD figure in mind, let us know, and we’ll ensure it’s correctly reflected.

    Our system streamlines the process by automating all calculations for both paystubs and forms. Just enter the required data, and our system will handle the rest, generating accurate documents. To ensure precision, we provide a preview feature allowing you to review the information before finalizing the documents.

    How will I receive my paystubs/forms?

    As soon as you complete your purchase, you can download your paystub(s) from your email. You can either receive the documents in a single PDF file that contains multiple pages, or you can choose to receive a zip file that either contains multiple PDF or JPEG files. In case you don’t see the documents in your email’s primary inbox, we recommend checking your Spam folder.

    What if I am having issues printing my paystubs?

    The PDF files we send are compatible with all printers and set to the standard US Letter format. They can be opened with any version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. To ensure smooth printing, please double-check your printer settings – the paper size should be set to ‘Letter’ and the scale should be set to ‘Default’.

    What if my YTD is wrong?

    Our system calculates the YTD automatically from January 1st of each year up to the most recent pay date. For instance, if your hiring date was January 1st, 2023, the system will consider your upcoming paychecks as the 15th and 16th of the year. If your employment started later in the year, please provide us with your actual hiring date or the number of paychecks you’ve received, and we’ll adjust the calculations. If you already have a specific YTD amount in mind, share it with us, and we’ll be glad to make the necessary corrections.

    I have lost my paystub, can I re-download it?

    You can always access your paystub via the email we sent or you can contact us and we will promptly send you another copy of your paystub.

    How can I correct a mistake or edit my paystub?

    If you need to make corrections or changes to your paystub, you don’t need to place a new order. Instead, just get in touch with our customer service team and let us know the details that need to be corrected. Our committed team will swiftly make the necessary adjustments to your current order.

    What is a W2 form?

    What information is needed to generate a W2 form?

    To generate a W2 form, you will need the employee’s personal information (name, address, Social Security number), employer details (company name, address, Employer Identification Number), and information related to earnings, taxes withheld, and other applicable details for the tax year.

    The W-2 does not reflect my current salary. How come?

    Your W-2 form does not display your current fiscal year salary. Instead, it reflects your taxable wages for the calendar year. The fiscal dates covered by your W-2 may span 11 or 13 pay periods, depending on your specific pay schedule. For example, it might cover periods such as 12/16/18 – 6/30/19 (13 pay periods) or 07/01/19 – 12/15/19 (11 pay periods). The W-2 focuses on the income subject to taxation rather than providing an overview of your overall salary.

    Do you file a W-2 form with the IRS?
